Action and reaction

- [Instructor] Very often, different body parts move in opposing directions. This is something that happens all the time naturally without us thinking about it, it's a way for the body to stay in balance. And it also looks interesting. So always be looking out for opportunities to apply opposing action because it instills naturalism to the scene. This is a nice example, a seagull with a up, down wing flap, and when we add opposing action we have vitality, take it away and we have something static. We can also apply this thing to very graphical characters. Here I have some simple opposing actions to this basic little stick man. So opposing action isn't just for realistic seagulls, it's for everybody.
