- [Instructor] So let's take a look at lights now. And lights in Cinema 4D, and in fact, any 3D application are quite unlike lights in the real world. They do not bounce. They do not lose intensity, and they don't cast shadows. You have to tell them to do those things. So here we have a quick sample scene just to get our heads around this. So looking at our Object Manager here we've got a light, a sphere, and a floor. And the light is currently turned off so we're looking at the scene with the default lights on. Now as soon as we enable the light, which is a spotlight, you can see that it has an effect on the viewport. You know what we can do to illustrate this even more clearly is to just increase the intensity. Okay, so I've increased the intensity to 200%, and you can see that the light is shining onto the sphere through it. It's not really respecting that object so if we just change our angle here, and press Command + R to render you can see that the light is just going all the…
