Bouncing ball

- [Instructor] Most objects move in arcs, especially characters and living things. We're always arcing all over the place. The classic example of this is the side view of a bouncing ball. The ball falls along the trajectory of the dotted line which is a series of arcs, and as long as our ball is timed and spaced correctly with some appropriate amount of squash and stretch, the end result is a nice ball bounce action. In the next movie, we'll take this deceptively simple technique and see how we can apply it to more complex actions.
