- [Narrator] Let's take a look at break downs and different ways that we can apply break downs to a simple scene. And this is obviously something that you can do at a way more complex level than this. But understanding break downs is absolutely crucial if you want to level up your work. If you really want to improve your quality of your animation and your quantity. So here we have our first key, it's number one. And here's our second which I've timed out as number 15. And this is going to be a fairly quick head turn, about 2/3 of a second or just a little under one foot of footage. So the first version of this would be very simple. This is a basic break down drawing. Nothing interesting is going to happen here, a very simple dip and let's see what this looks like when we apply all the in between frames.
