- [Instructor] In a previous movie, I spoke about different kinds of shots, establishing shots, medium shots, long shots, and so on. So this particular shot is an establishing shot. It shows us the characters in the park and we can see what city they're living in. So what if we want to then add to the shot, a camera move. So we could, for example, move from an establishing shot into a long shot or from a long shot into a medium shot, simply by moving the camera. Well, let's take a look at the different ways we can do this because there's a couple different approaches. The easiest one will be to zoom the camera in. Now, if we were doing this in live action, this would simply be like zooming your camera. You turn the little knob on the camera and you zoom in. The problem with doing this is it's flat. All you're doing is magnifying the image and it looks a little bit dull. The alternative is to truck in. And that is to physical move into the shot. Now in terms of the live action, this…
