Capes: Advanced
- [Instructor] In the previous movie, we created a cape animation. Part of the animation was a flutter cycle, where the cape is caught by a strong gust and flutters strongly. It was this band here, from 19 through 23 to 27, and 27, of course, is the same as 19, that's our cycle, which we loop over and over again. Let's remind ourselves of what it looked like. Not too bad, it doesn't look like cardboard. So let's see if we can go a little beyond this. So, the basic cycle was only three frames. Two, really, but y'know, the third being the same as the first, so really, there were only two unique drawings. So, 19, 23, and 27 in this example. So, the secret is to add breakdowns, and to do something different on these breakdowns other than a straight in-between, and you can see the breakdowns here in red and green, they're 21 and 25.
