- [Instructor] This is another movie that takes an old animation I did and approach it with a more traditional animation style. So here's the original content. So we had the cape from my drawing course. So the figure on the left, like Superman's cape is very thin, very silky, it folds a lot. The one of the right's a thicker material. So we have to remember what material your secondary characteristic is made out of. In this case, I wanted to go with the left side, something that would be much more vulnerable to wind. So that was one thing to bear in mind about this. And then the question how do you draw this? And you can think of it as a very simple rectangular form. Then you add the spine around the bottom and you construct the different folds then based around that, so the cape has a structure to it. It's not just like an arbitrary collection of wiggles.
