- [Instructor] Now let's take a look at how to create curves by drawing. Under the create menu, we have curve tools and I'm actually going to tear that menu off so we can see it. Now we have a couple of different curve tools here and they all work a little bit differently so let's just go through them. The first one is the CV curve tool and that basically draws a NURBS curve. All we have to do is select the tool and then left-click to lay down our first point and notice how that's a square and that means that's our first point. The second point is a U and that means this is the direction of our curve and then we can keep laying down points but notice how I'm not getting a curve until I hit my fourth point. So, so it takes four points to define a CV curve and once I have that curve, then I can continue to add control vertices however I want. Now when I'm done with this, all I have to do is go to my select tool…
