- [Instructor] Another way to organize your scenes is through layers. And these are layers that can turn on or off visually the objects in your scene. So here we have a basic scene. We have the truck and then we have all of the background or set objects here. So what we can do is create layers so that we can hide and show various parts of the scene. Now you can find the layers menu here under the channel box. So when you have the channel box active the lower portion of this is what's called the layer editor. And I'm going to go ahead and drag this up so we could see it a little bit better. Now in layers, we have a couple of options here. We have a display layer and an animation layer. Now animation layers are wholly different subject. We're just going to work with display layers which allows you to turn on or off objects as they display.
