Create materials in Hypershade
- [Instructor] The Hypershade window can also be used to create your own materials from scratch. So let's take a look at how to do that. Now, I have a simple scene with just a simple object. And if we go into the Hypershade, you'll see that this scene has only two materials. It has a Lambert material, which is our default, and then blinn1 which is on that sphere. Now I want to create a new material. So let's go into the Maya option here and you'll see we have all of the options for Maya, and I want to select Blinn. So we're going to create a second Blinn material and that comes in as blinn2. Now, notice when this comes in, it actually graphs it. So I can select that material here, and if I wanted to, I could change the color to whatever I wanted or I could basically add in textures the way I always do. So if I were to click here, I could add in a checker. And when I do, notice what happens to the graph. It actually adds in…
