Create motion blur in Arnold
- When we photograph objects that are moving, we'll often get a blurring effect called motion blur. We can get the same effect in Maya using motion blur in Arnold. Now here we have a truck that's animating across the screen. So if I go down to my timeline, left, click, and drag, you could see the motion of that truck. And I can hit playback here to see it. I'm going to position my slider on frame 20 so that the truck is centered. And let's just do a quick render view of the scene. So here's the basic render. Now, this truck should be moving, so it should be blurring. And we have a very sharp image here. So let's add some motion blur. But before I do that, I'm actually going to press this little button here. And what this does is it saves this frame, so I can go back to it later. Now motion blur is set up using the render settings window. So let's go ahead and open that. And if we go over to the Arnold renderer tab,…
