you'll see this saved illustrator file in your chapter six exercise files folder. In the Save As dialogue, I'll leave it named as that fabric .ai, Adobe Illustrator, and now that hard work is saved. a little bit of variation across it. particularly this detail of a chair, we can see that the lines are just every so slightly prowed. We also need a little bit of a weave in here. So what I'll do is make two normals and combine them. One for the weave of the fabric, and one for the lines. To achieve this, I'll use a generator. Searching in here, and choosing W-E-A, and there's a weave generator. I've got Weave 1, Weave 2, Weave Generator, and because I typed in W-E-A, What this does, as the name suggests, is generate a weave. In this case, well, a herring bone or close to. What I need to do though, is to tile this. By 128. I've zoomed in in the 2D view, and we can see here that it's so many weaves that it becomes essentially a series of zigs.
