Dangles drop too far
- You want to add some dangle physics to your character and as you play with the settings, one of your dangles droops a bit too much. Well, don't worry, there's a couple of answers. (techno music) Well, the first things to check are the gravity and dangle settings. So let's take a look at that. Under Properties, you'll find physics, and under Physics, you've got gravity strength, and dangle. Let's open up dangle so we can see both at the same time. Gravity strength; well notice our thin, thin one here is really hanging low, we've got a bit of droop on the thicker one here. So, the stronger the gravity, the more something is going to droop. So if we reduce gravity to something very low, it'll straighten up. That's a little bit better. Still really moves around a lot. Well that's where spring stiffness comes in under dangle. So, I can stiffen that up quite a bit. Now the thin one just has a little bit of movement, the thicker one doesn't really have much at all. You try to find a happy…
