Developing the look of the hair physical shader
- [Instructor] Let's design a particular look to our grass using the hair physical shader. I'm going to launch the Arnold RenderView, click in the perspective viewport to give it focus. And in the main Maya menus choose Arnold render. So we've got the pair physical shader parameters that came with the preset. So let's select that hair physical shader in the hypershade, and then go over to its attributes and the attribute editor or parameter editor. And I want to see the effect of each one of these different shading components separately. So we'll start by turning off everything and then we'll turn things on one at a time. Set the diffuse weight down to zero, Set the first highlight weight down to zero. Set the second highlight weight down to zero and scrolling down a little bit we've just got transmission here.
