- [Narrator] In the previous movie we saw how to create a simple run cycle using a basic design, little more than a box on sticks. So I'm going to apply that run to a slightly more realistic stick figure where you can see the bending of the legs, or obviously not just two little vertical lines. So this begins to look like a dog, it's still very stylized but it's definitely a dog. So that's a nice gallop. So there's some principles to watch out for, expansion and contraction left and right like an accordion. Up down on the back to give power. And then nice rotary action, circular actions on the head and the rear. And plot the arcs, now this is, I'm going to freeze frame this, these are rough arc plots that I made cause I drew most of this by hand, so I had complete control and responsibility for where each of the elbows and joints were going to go.
