- [Instructor] We've all had the boss or the client who says the magic words, "Can you make it pop?" And the problem with being told to make it pop is that basically it means nothing. So let's use concrete language to describe the things that we want to see, and concrete language will enable us to communicate like professionals. So in this case, we have changed tonal values, saturation, composition, and we can go even further than this. So let's first look at color or saturation, how we can take a color image and amplify it, and we can even add color ranges that are even deeper than this. And okay, this pops now, that's not really what's happening. I'm adding a blue saturation and then a very dramatically opposing color to that. I've increased the intensity of the colors, so I haven't changed the tonal values. These have the same tonal values on the drawing beneath the color is what's catching the eye here more than…
