Dragons
- [Narrator] We don't just have to animate living creatures and real creatures. We also have fantastical creatures, and there are also other creatures as well that are strange and weird, but which fly. In this course I can show you the basic principles and then we can see how we can apply them to maybe bat-like animals or fantasy animals like a dragon. In this case, for the first pass, again I like to lock the body down so I can just focus your attention on the wings where most of the meat is. Now here's the final version where I really went to town, and I'll walk you through the process of how I got there from the first pass, but the fully animated cycle is going to have a lot more going on. Now notice that as the wings fall, the body rises and vice versa. We've seen that on the bigger birds, and we've seen that on pretty much everything.
