Exaggerating the face

- [Instructor] It's really important if you do a drawing that you like, not to settle for it, because there may be somethin' that you can do to that drawing to make it even better. Disney had a word for this and he called it plussing, and when the animator showed him a scene, even if it was fine and everybody was happy with it, he would always ask them to plus the scene. Now, obviously there's no end to this. You could keep plussing a scene forever and paying for that extra quality with the loss of quantity, but a little plussing goes a long way. Let's look at this angry face and see if we can plus it any. So, with a little addition of exaggeration or plussing, we've already pushed this to be a much stronger design, and at this point you might think, well that's probably as far as we can take this.
