- [Dermot] If you've watched many of my movies before, you'll know that I'm a big believer in thumbnails, and fairly detailed thumbnails. And this is something that you really have to build a habit of doing because it's all too easy to tear into a scene on the computer, moving a puppet around, or just to begin drawing. And the classical approach would be to plan. You would do a lot more planning before you start hacking away through a forest and drawing 400 pieces of paper. So, here I have a very funky, goofy walk cycle that I sketched out quite a few years ago. It's about seven or eight years ago. And for quite a while, I've been wanting to get some time to see what this would really look like if I tried to put it together, and would it work? Because sometimes, things look good on the paper, and they don't look so good when you assemble them. So, the part I'm focusing on here is the bottom row, and it's the really nice…
