- [Instructor] In the previous movie, I showed you how you can construct flags and fabric animation by using simple geometric forms. And for many people, this is enough, that's fine. But we can also build on these and push shape tweening. And this is about as far as I personally can push this kind of stuff. When you're shape tweening a rectangle in Adobe Animate or Toon Boom Harmony to try to get these folds that look as organic as possible, it's very, very difficult to get this to look like real fabric. You always are dealing with the fact that this is a vector image, and I also want to break it and do way more with it than this and that's just so difficult. So once again, I'm going to show you how I was able to approach this when I began just breaking away from all this stuff and drawing it. So this is a hand drawn first pass at a flag in Photoshop.
