- Character animator does a great job with automated lip sync, but there are times when you'll want to adjust the visemes or phonemes in your production. Now, I'm really picky with my lip syncs, so I often make little adjustments just to make it perfect. Now, this recording that we did in the last video, in the automatic lip sync from the pre-recorded audio was virtually perfect. But I want to just make a couple changes just 'cause I want a slightly different look. So let's take a look at the different things we can do when we're editing our audio and lip sync within Character Animator. Now, if I need to change the timing, like right here where he opens his mouth for the E sound, if I want that earlier, I can just grab the front of the E and drag it to make it go earlier.
