- [Instructor] The most detailed form of hair that you'll see is classic design that we see in the movies by Disney and Don Bluth and the other great, traditional, feature studios. You can see an example of this on the right side, and you compare it with the more stylized TV style on the left or the intermediate pathway look in the center. So, you may be looking at the complex image on the right, and wondering how on earth do you begin to animate something with so many points? How do you control it? And so, we're going to take a closer look at that. So when you design or animate this style of hair, there are five important principals I want you to keep in mind: first, you keep the spacing of the hair irregular. You want small areas next to wide ones with narrow strands breaking off. You know variation. You must avoid anything that looks regular or artificial like the image to the right side. That's this one right here. That's a no no. Second, use points of origin. So in this example…
