- [Instructor] One of the most enjoyable actions you can animate is the hit reaction when your beloved character gets smacked by something heavy. Here we have our hit react scene. So let me just focus on this guy here. Boom, now in previous movies I've got the staggers and that's what you're seeing here. It's a very simple process. I will just put the timeline in here so we can have a easier look at it. So essentially we have our scene and that happens. And on the outer timeline, I've just, this is a nested symbol. So I go one, two, three. And then go back two, three, four. And then back three, four, five. So you change the exposure pattern. One, two, three, two, three, four, three, four, five, four, five, six. Whether or not you can do this will depend on your software. If it will allow you to play games with exposure patterns like this then you can create all kinds of cool stagger effects.
