Hold prop upright
- So, the bottle my character is holding here keeps bending over, and this might not work well for you if your character is trying to hold a cup of coffee. So, how do you keep the prop upright? (exciting music) You've got a character that's holding a prop. Really, the prop is just, it's a hand layer that's attached to an arm. Well, luckily it's just a couple of steps to make sure that that stays upright. Let's go into rig. Let's take a look at the layer first. It's here hidden behind the other one. It's called Bottle held. Turn that off so you could see it disappear. It's attached to an arm that's draggable, and the hand is attached to the arm, but as you could see, it keeps bending over. So, the first thing that we want to do, is we want to make this layer independent. So I'm going to go to Puppet, Group Layers, that's independent. Let's go back to Record and see what changed. So right now nothing changed, but it allows us to do what we need to do next. Let's go back to Rig, and…
