- [Narrator] Let's take a look at flying insects, and we'll start with the moth or the butterfly. Now, in this example I've locked down the body, so we can just focus on the wings. This is a very fast, very simple action. Frame one is the up-pose, frame three is the down-pose, and we cycle back into frame one on frame five. And then two and four are just basic in-betweens. So, they're fairly close favors to the up and down positions. What I mean by that is look at number two, it's very similar to one, not identical, the wings are moving down and you can move something in this region but they should more or less look like the up-pose but just a sixth or a fifth or maybe a third on the way down. And the same applies to the up position, number four, it's moving up, but not hugely, I mean, it's not halfway in between or anything. So, that creates the greater sense impression of the up and the down positions, stops it from looking like a total blur. So, the next step would be to nudge the…
