- [Instructor] Adding visual effects and particles to the scene is always a joy, as it helps bring a level of realism and sense of being there. So let's take a look at the tools Unity offers for this purpose. The first thing you need to make sure is that you have the visual effects graph installed. Also, before you use the visual effect graph, you need to make sure you're using HDRP, high definition render pipeline, as we've said earlier in this course. And equally important, if you use the particle system prior to the graph introduction, be aware that the graph runs on the GPU, therefore allowing a lot more flexibility and performance on the effects. So again, we're going to bring our package manager from the window and then package manager.
