- [Instructor] In a previous movie I described how you can use sweatbox notes to describe the action of a scene. So, instead of giving an animator a single image as here, which doesn't really tell them about how the scene starts or ends, the sweatbox note will say Bumstead starts typing with his head down, then Harry enters, then Bumstead reacts. That gives us the main beats of the performance. However, we can then add to that too, if we have more time, as a nice bonus if we can break down some drawings for the animator and give them two or three main blocked-in poses to show the start and the stop of the sequence. It's a great way too to give you a little more control over the flow of the production and hopefully to nail the animation much sooner. So let's see how we would approach that. Now these do not have to be perfect finished drawings, they can be scribbles or a little more tied down like these. Quality of layout…
