- [Instructor] This is some material from my storyboard course. And if you haven't watched that course, I strongly recommend you do. Story boarding is really one of the high points of animation, if you can get into it. It's closer to being a director of a movie. So there's a lot of fun stuff in that course. Let's take a look at what I found to be a very useful tip from me, because I do storyboard a lot of my own material, and if you ever storyboard your own shorts or cartoons or whatever, then having a good idea of tone is really important and setting a tone directly and very simply at the very beginning can be absolutely fantastic fun. One thing that I learned from a coworker years ago was to use base 11, and I've really gotten into it. It's great fun. Because instead of typing one, zero, two, zero, three, zero and decimal, get rid of that and just type on base 11 because you can type in one, one, two, two, three, three.
