- [George] Maya is a very robust package, and requires a fairly healthy system to run properly. Now, if you're just starting out with Maya, make sure that you have a good graphics card in your system, along with plenty of memory. This will help you out a lot with Maya. Now, if you're using a Macintosh, you'll also need a three-button mouse. You can use Maya without that, but it will be much easier to learn it with a proper mouse. So if you don't have one, go ahead, and get a three-button mouse, and we can start with Maya.
