Medium to large-sized birds

- [Instructor] In the previous movie we saw how to animate a small bird with a very fast flight cycle, it was something like a sparrow or a starling. So now we'll look at a larger bird, like a medium sized bird, like a seagull or a crow or a raven. So this is, I think it's a really nice animation of a seagull and you can tell it's richer than the simple sparrow cycle in the previous movie. So let's see how. All of the basic principles that we used in the previous movie are also being used here. So the wing beat is more or less the same, the opposition to the down and up again. There are some differences though, the timing is much longer. The original small bird's cycle in the previous movie was only eight frames long, so it went from frame one to frame nine, (mumbling) eight frames later. And in this case I've added a lot more frames, 'cause the bird's bigger, there's more mass, the wings are bigger, they have more space to cover. So this one's about twice as long, so it's a 16 frame…
