Modeling with Sculpt Geometry tool
- In addition to the mesh sculpting tools that were ported over from Mudbox, Maya also has its own native sculpt geometry tool it's been around for decades. And that gives us a slightly different set of options. And it may be better depending upon your workflow. Let's take a look, I'll select my ground plane and in the modeling menu set, go to the surfaces menu. And it's found in the services menu because, these sculpt geometry tool can apply to both polygons and nerves. Down here near the bottom we'll see sculpt geometry tool going into its options. And by default, we're going to see the wireframe display and that's a little bit distracting. So let's turn that off in the display section scrolling down, we can disable show wireframe. I also like to enable draw brush while paintings so I'll be able to see the brush outline. And up at the top, we have our profile. We can choose a softer brush if we want. And we have the…
