Navigation in Maya

- [Instructor] In Maya we do most of our work in Viewport. So let's take a look at how to navigate in a Maya Viewport. Navigation in Maya requires a three button mouse. Now you can navigate on a track pad or with a two button mouse on a Macintosh. But it's much easier if you have a three button mouse. So let's take a look at how to navigate in Maya. Now navigation requires one keyboard key and one mouse button. Now the keyboard key is the Alt or the Option key on the Macintosh keyboard. So I'm going to hold down Alt or Option. And left click. And if I do that you can see I can orbit my scene. Now if I hold down that keyboard key and right click, I can truck the camera in and out. Now if I have a three button mouse with a wheel, I can also roll the middle mouse wheel to do the same motion. Now if I hold down my keyboard key and middle click, I can pan. So, again, left click, orbit, middle click, pan, right click, truck.…
