- [Instructor] So now we'll look at how to move inanimate objects. In the previous movie, we saw how to design different approaches and different philosophies of animating things. So the most basic approach is to simply take the object and animate it without worrying about whether or not it has arms, legs, or a head. And in this case, a simple coffee mug. Now, notice how I've added, I bolted on a face in the final two poses, which is another way of how to anthropomorphize an object, put a face on it. So very simple animations, but pretty effective can be done like this. You know, you can squash and stretch and gather and then we settle into the final pose. So in this sequence, just squash and stretch is enough to make the mug hop from one position into another. And we use line of action to give the mug a little emotional attitude. So a strict mug be like a vertical line. In this case, we have a slight C curve, and even something as simple as that, and these little C curves here and…
