- [Instructor] Let's take a look at the movie that I want to create. So this is the finished scene. So our little generic 1920's Rubber-Hose guy walks in from screen left to an old abandoned shack, sees a skeleton and does the classic "I am scared." And we see the dotted lines go from his eye to the skeleton and little shock lines come out of his head. 'Cause that means you're scared. Bottom left we have a little bit of grass floating in the breeze, a very typical feature that you'll see in a lot of these and a little shake on the hands. But that's about it. It's charming, cute and he doesn't blink, that's about the one thing he doesn't do, but that's, that's not a big deal. So we have a cute scene, let's see what the factors are that we have to look at before we can begin to work on something like this. Before we go much further, it's important to remember frame rates. Frame rates for the silent period are all over the place and as you can see from this Wiki page they tend to vary…
