- [Instructor] I've dealt with some of the topics in this chapter in a previous course called Animating in 2D: Loosening Up. It's in the library if you want to go into it in more detail. Different objects have different material properties. They start and stop moving at different times. Their motion is set to overlap. Now in this animation, there is no overlap. All four pieces of fabric start and stop at the same frame so it looks fake. So we take the far cloth, the one in red, make it a bit lighter, and that means more air resistance, which means it'll take longer to stop moving. Now, it's overlapping. We continue this process, take the next cloth over, and change its material properties also, slightly, so now we have yet more overlap. Repeat the process with the third one. Now we have all four pieces of fabric, and they're all overlapping one another. This is my replica of a 1920s era rubber hose cartoon. And you can…
