Overview of Maya rendering
- [Instructor] Once you have your objects modeled, you'll need to add color and texture to them to make them more realistic. Now you do that using materials and textures. But before we get into that I do want to talk a little bit about Maya rendering. Now Maya has a number of different renderers available and let's take a look at some of the render settings. So if we go into Render Settings here, you'll see we have a common menu, here, as well as additional menus that change depending upon the renderer that you have. Now you can change the renderer here. Autodesk provides a couple of standard renderers and you may even have more if you have additional third-party renderers installed. Now, if you want to render a scene, all you have to do is press Render View, and this will render the current view. In this case, we rendered it in Arnold, but if we want, we can change the renderer.
