- [Instructor] Let's take a quick look at perspective. And this a cursory introduction to the topic, and it's not the kinda thing that as an animator you may have to worry about if you're dealing with characters, but you should still know what it is and how it applies to your scenes. So in this example, we have the horizon line, the black line right across the middle, the horizontal line, and then the vertical and diagonal lines are converging on the vanishing point. And this vanishing point can move around, so let's just play this animation and see. So we can have the horizon low on the ground. This gives us a worm's eye view. Now we're low down, looking up, there's more sky than ground. We can have the opposite, which is a bird's eye view. So if you're gonna do a shot where we're flying over lots of terrain, the horizon goes to the top of the screen. The most common is the one-third from the bottom, and this is the most pleasing.
