Planning the scene
- [Narrator] When we began the course, we started out with our very simple thumbnail and we built the entire performance by applying all the different foundational techniques of animation. And I did warn you at the beginning that the thumbnails were a bit simple. Sometimes people maybe get a bit lazy. In this case, I thought, well, let me show you how you would plan really good thumbnails so that you can do all the things I've shown you throughout this course. But actually do them hopefully in one or two passes, and not have to go through and do them in 11 or 12 passes as I did throughout the course. If you can do that, your quality will go up, your quantity will go up. So let's begin by opening this out a bit. So the first thing I would do if I were planning a thumbnail would be to give us some room. Put some air between your main key poses, if I'm drawing on in Photoshop, I'll spread them out on layers, so I can slide…
