- [Instructor] I'm going to do a series of movies that talk about some of the issues that you might encounter if you ever have to animate a interactive project. So, in this case, it's a side-scroller game. Now I have a great deal of experience in working on these, and they do have some unique challenges. So this is a dummy that I've created to give you an idea about the kind of complexity that you should be able to strive for. And some of the pitfalls that you might encounter as you put the animation together. So I'm going to let this play through very briefly, and you can see we have villains who come in, this is a martian invasion. And we have the perils to be avoided, the weapons that we pick up. The figure should be able to move, he has a hit reaction. He can pick up objects to level up, and then he can blow up obstacles in his path to get around them. He can recharge energy, and notice how his health goes down…
