Plot arcs
- [Instructor] I've faded out the animation a little bit so we can do an overlay and plot the arc. So what I'm going to do when I plot an arc in the days of drawing by hand, you would either put a clean sheet of paper over your animation and use that to plot each joint like the wrist or the elbow. Any part of the character that was maybe moving too much for you to get a feel by eye. And we're going to do the same thing here because it's amazing what you can find by doing this. This is a gold standard method for diagnosing your scene. So whatever software you use, whatever animation program or style you're using, please try to find a way to do this. Some programs will actually allow you to see the arc path. You must always look at them very carefully. So I made a new layer here to plot the arc layers and I'm going to zoom in. So, we can pick where you think the joint will be for the wrist and you go to the next key…
