- [Instructor] Exaggeration is the art of going further than you thought possible. This is also the realm of cartoon physics. The fun stuff. We've all seen Flash style puppet animation like this. Now, let's be honest, it does get old. Well, that's because the puppets are puppets. They can be quite limited. If you work in a puppet system like I have a lot, you'll always have that challenge of the limitations of the rig. It can be done, and some of the slides in this course were made with Flash or Adobe Animate CC or Harmony. Many of them are also hand drawn. Whether you work in a puppet system or you're drawing by hand, or you're in CGI, one mistake that many people make is that they forget that the human head is gimballed.
