Previewing XGen colors with a global expression
- [Instructor] An XGen Spline Primitive description will always have a Primitive Color here in the Preview/Output tab. And in this case, it's got a size parameter which is driving the size of a noise pattern, and a color A and color B. And in this particular preset that we loaded, there's also a custom color. We scroll down, we'll see in Custom Shader Parameters, there's another whole set of colors. And this is what's driving the colors of the rendering. And there is no connection between these two currently. And just to verify that I can go back up to the Primitive Color and click on color A. Set that to some extreme value like magenta, and then when that takes effect, we can see that we've got this very extreme magenta color here in the viewport. But if we render this, we'll get the colors from the Custom Shader Parameters. Let's try that, we'll go up into the main menus and choose Arnold Render. So there's…
