What you need to know

- [Instructor] In my LinkedIn Learning course, Substance Designer for Architectural Visualization, I'll teach you from the ground up how to make materials. We'll start with the basics and then progress quickly into complex graphs to really get across what we're after in that material. If you've never touched Substance Designer before, that's okay. Some knowledge of a physically-based rendering workflow is good, if you've worked in Autodesk 3ds Max or Unity for example. Additionally, I'll show a little bit of Adobe Illustrator, so some familiarity with Illustrator is good, although if you've don't know Illustrator, that's okay. I'll walk you through it. For this course, you just need Substance Designer and internet access, and that way, you can look at materials as you're making them, so let's get started with Substance Designer for Architectural Visualization.
