- [Lecturer] There are times when we'll need to model against an image as referenced in Maya. So let's take a look at how to do that. I have an image here, and this is of our trucks. So I have a top, a side and a front view and I've separated those out into individual images that are scaled the same. And I've also added some red lines to help with alignment. Now, when you do this, you want to make sure that the images are pretty much the same size and you want to make sure you know what the image sizes are. So I'm going to go into image size here and this one is 1198 by 600. So we going to start off with this side view and then we're going to add in the other three. So we do this simply by creating planes and mapping the image onto the plane.
