- [Instructor] Now there are two ways of doing a modern project in the style of a different period. And one way is just to copy the look, the graphical look of the '60s or '70s, or whatever period you're trying to copy. That's relatively easy. It's much trickier to make a project look like it was actually done in that period. That's the hard part. That's copying the essence of the period, not the surface material, the surface quality of it. So we have to go into the techniques that were used in that time and the limitations they had if we want to really make something look like it's an undiscovered cartoon from 1967 for example. In this case we're talking about a period when everything was done on paper. They didn't have access to computers, so we need to copy the process, and the style and the approach that they did.
