- [Instructor] In the following sequence of movies, I want to take you through the process of animating in the style of 1960s and early 1970s TV animation. So here I have a scene that I animated as best as I could to make something look like it was done in 1966, let's say, the The Flintstones' era of television. As a simple limited walk, a little gesture, links head turns, walks and talks and jabbers, very typical. Here's another example, same character. And this time going into a typical run cycle. So let's take a look very quickly then at the kind of cartoons we're talking about. So Hanna-Barbera is the studio that really turned this into an art form. In 1960s we be I think of the golden age of this. And they still animated in this style throughout the 70s. And it dies off in the 1980s with the different style of kids TV animation that emerged then. And now the reason for this was that shows like The Flintstones allowed…
