- [Instructor] So this is my wizard animation and I use this character to illustrate lots of different principles of a traditional animated scene. So in this case, I'm going to use him to illustrate staging because this was my basic staging of the character but I didn't have to animate this scene from this direction. I could have picked different camera angles. Why did I pick this camera angle? So let's find out. So again, this is the camera angle I decided to invest most of my time in and I spent quite a bit of time on the background. Probably a few days at least drawing all of this stuff. The reason being, I can reuse this background for many different shots and it's also the best angle to illustrate that particular action. So I could also have done this angle.
