Strengthening actions with breakdowns

- [Narrator] You can animate a scene without adding any interesting actions on the breakdown frames. This jump for example, only uses key frames. There's no breakdown magic going on at all. It's fine but we can do better. Here are my thumbnails. This is how I planned the entire scene. And you can see they keys, they're all circled. But notice the numbers in red. That's where the breakdowns are going to go. Here are the breakdowns. And as you can see, there's some parts in red. The parts that are drawn in black, those are basic in-betweens. There's nothing unusual happening on the areas that are in dark. The parts however, that I've sketched in red, those flag the particular breakdown motions that are going to really loosen up the scene. On frame nine, the elbows move up, that gives us an opposing action. Frame 19 has a nice leading action on the elbow. Frame 31 has a really good opposing action as the hands reach…
