Timing intermediate

- [Instructor] In the previous movie, we looked at timing and spacing and how we can change timing and spacing to create a very different impression of motion of the same object. We also used timing and spacing to influence the materials property of the object. So in this case, I'm treating the bouncing ball like it's a soccer ball and it's really important to know what the different materials in your scene are supposed to be. So in this case, it's a fairly rigid sphere. It's still going to have a little bit of stretch to it and a fairly energetic bounce, so it finally comes to rest. Let's have a look at the timing charts. So the timing chart that you see here is the traditional animation timing chart. And don't worry about it too much if you're working in CGI or some other software but it's just a general nice way to see how I've spaced out the different in between positions and whether they're easing in from a keyframe or easing out of it.
