Tripod walk

- [Presenter] Often when you're animating you have a visual reference that you can use. Dog cycles, human runs, walks and so on. But what happens if you ever have to design something that you don't have reference for? In this case, you know, a tripod robot from War of the Worlds or something like that. Now, obviously now you have reference for a tripod, and you could also of course look at some of the movies that have been made, but what if you got something really odd? Like a, you know, five-legged machine or something that you can't easily get reference for? Then you have to design the motion yourself, from scratch. And sometimes too, even if you could have reference for a tripod walk, maybe your own will be different. You could have one with four joints, seven joints, so many ways you can vary this, so it's good to be able to know how to solve some of the mechanical problems that you might feature.
